How do you upgrade your Black arks? Do you upgrade the 'artillery' support? Is it worth it? How about the other support like slave pens and pits? Main tips for using them: Put as many units in them as you can in the early game. For Malus you don't even need to give him any army, you just always fight coastal battles by settlements and have the Black Ark reinforce. Later on put your most expensive units in them & have them follow a lord at sea and along the coast, keeping expensive units.

A fully upgraded black ark brings so much to the table, so upgrading them fully is high priority for any Dark elf faction. It is possible to play dark elves as a pirating raiding faction, especially with Lokhir.
